On-site, Helsinki

Office Manager

Kuuasema, a leading game studio based in Helsinki with 22 years of history and a team of almost 90 people, is seeking an enthusiastic Office Manager to join our dynamic team as a parental leave substitute.

Our business is divided between partner projects for renowned companies like Supercell, Red Bull, Rovio, and Remedy, and the development of our own exciting IP, such as Cthulhu Keeper.

We are looking for someone to step in and keep our studio running smoothly. From making sure everyday office life runs effortlessly to creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for our crew, you will play an important role in keeping Kuuasema a great place to work.

This is a fixed-term position of at least one year, covering parental leave.. Working hours are flexible and will be agreed upon together.

What you will do

You will be the person who keeps things running, brings people together, and makes Kuuasema a great place to work every day.

  • Office Management — Keep our studio running like clockwork. You will manage vendor relationships, external services, and day-to-day operations, while constantly looking for ways to improve how things work.
  • Events & Culture — Plan and execute team events, parties, and social moments that bring out the best in our crew. From big ideas to flawless execution, you will be the one who makes it all happen and sets the tone for our studio culture.
  • HR Coordination — Support our team through onboarding, offboarding, employee benefits management, and recruitment assistance. You will be the friendly face that helps new team members hit the ground running.
  • Process Ownership — Identify recurring tasks and workflows that can be streamlined, then take full ownership of them. You will turn scattered routines into well-oiled processes.
  • Being Present — Whether it is organizing office breakfasts or just being a visible, approachable presence in the office, you will help set the mood and keep morale high.

What we are looking for

You have experience in a similar role, and you have always been the person who organizes, coordinates, and makes things happen around you. You bring a genuine passion for this type of work and the drive to make a real impact on the people and environment around you.

You have a good understanding of Finnish tax practices and basic budgeting, and you are comfortable managing costs, tracking expenses, and making sure things run smoothly within budget.

You take initiative and do not wait to be told what to do. You spot something that needs fixing and you fix it. You are equally comfortable coming up with ideas for team events and negotiating with a cleaning vendor. Above all, you genuinely care about the people around you and the environment they work in.

Fluent English is a must, as it is our working language at the studio. Finnish is a nice bonus, but not a requirement.

The role is fully on-site at our Helsinki studio, with flexible hours to suit how you work best. This role is open to candidates already based in Finland with the right to work here.

What we offer

  • A salary that reflects your experience and skills, plus a comprehensive benefits package including a commuting benefit, phone benefit, recreational benefit, and a lunch benefit through a lunch deduction scheme
  • Flexible hours agreed together to suit your life
